S/V "Puffin " Hans Christian-
Model: HC33' -Auxilary Cutter -Year 1980
Built in Taiwan by Hansa yard - This is hull #1, a
classic collector model.
This vessel has been beautifully restored by Woodstock Caribe, using
only the finest materials in the construction. Hans Christians have a
reputation as one of the finest pedigreed blue water cruisers on the
high seas. The design goals of Harwood Ives were met in the ability to
go to weather as well as track downwind. There is high initial
stability for comfort under sail and a kindly motion at sea. Lateral
plane and ballast displacement ratios are high, so sailing with the
rail down is extremely rare.

Below decks, she is a home at sea,
with the feel and features of a much larger sailing yacht and extremely
well designed use of the interior space. Her 6' 3" headroom , 10
opening bronze ports, 6 dorade vents, two overhead hatches and rich
teak appointments provide a living space designed for comfort. As a
liveaboard, a recreational cruiser or for extended passagemaking, her
interior accommodations are well suited to the task.
Puffin is a well equipped, well thought out blue water cruiser that
will hold her value as an investment and take you in safety and comfort
anywhere in the world.
